How Glass Mug Is Manufactured?
In the process of manufacturing anything, some things are there which all the products have to go through before being sent to the shops. So let us begin with glass mugs:
· Selecting Primary Material:
The very first step is to select excellent, high-quality material for our product. The materials that are commonly used in glass mugs are limestone, crystal soda, and silica, along with different colors that give the cups an attractive look. Other materials also have some remarkable properties.
· Melting:
After selecting the material, they are mixed with fixed proportions and then put in a melting furnace at a very high temperature of more than 1000°C to melt, which is from molten glass.
· Formation Of Glass:
Now, the shape of mus is provided to the molten glass, but there are several types of ways. To provide exceptional design, the process in which molten glass is blown by hand, machines are also used to put the molten glass in shapes that are made for perfect results, and there are other methods are also there.
· Cooling:
After giving shape to the mugs, they have to go through the cooling process in which the strength of the cups is checked. However, slow cooling ensures that the cups do not face sudden temperature changes.
· Ready To Use:
After coming out of the colling process, the mugs are now polished, and the handle is and; after, an inspection takes place to ensure the shape, any kind of defect, and weight of the mug. Then, the cup is customized with some prints, carving, and other decorations.
· Delivery:
At last, the mugs are packed carefully, and according to the distance, they are sealed in bulk or individually. After that, they are distributed to the customers directly or to the retailers.
